Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken cutlets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 6-8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 ACE Bakery® Ciabatta Piccola Rolls, sliced in half
To Make
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a dipping station: In one bowl, place flour and Italian seasoning. In another, beat eggs. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour mixture, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Place breaded chicken breasts in the preheated air fryer. Cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, split the ACE Bakery® Ciabatta Piccola Rolls.
- Once the chicken is cooked, place it onto a roll, spread marinara sauce on each piece, add a chicken breast, and top with shredded mozzarella.
- Return the sandwiches to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Carefully remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and enjoy!!
