INGREDIENTS4 ACE Bakery® Classic Gourmet Burger Buns20 oz. ground chicken1 clove garlic, peeled and mincedPinch of chili flakes1 tsp. sea salt½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper1 tbsp. vegetable oil4 slices pepper jack cheese4 leaves romaine lettuce2 vine ripened tomatoes, sliced½ red onion, sliced into thin rings1 avocado, thinly sliced¼ cup crispy onions¼ cup chipotle or BBQ aioli1 fresh or pickled jalapeno, sliced.

- 20 oz. ground chicken
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- Pinch of chili flakes
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 leaves romaine lettuce
- 2 vine ripened tomatoes, sliced
- ½ red onion, sliced into thin rings
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup crispy onions
- ¼ cup chipotle or BBQ aioli
- 1 fresh or pickled jalapeno, sliced
INSTRUCTIONSPlace the chicken in a large bowl and mix together with the garlic, chili flakes, salt and pepper.Using wet hands, divide the mixture into 4 patties and press gently with your palm to form a burger that is about half an inch (1.27 cm) thick. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, on a covered tray, until ready to grill.Heat BBQ or grill pan to medium heat. When the grill is hot, brush the burgers with the vegetable oil and place on the grill. Cook for 5 minutes on one side until the bottoms begin to caramelize and gently char. Flip just once, resisting the urge to move them around or press down with the spatula. Cook for 4 or 5 minutes more on the other side or until no longer pink inside. Top the chicken burgers with slices of pepper jack cheese.Place the ACE Bakery® Classic Gourmet Burger Buns cut sides down on the grill to lightly toast.Assemble the burgers by layering the bottom bun with romaine lettuce, slices of tomato and red onion.
